We were approached by an American client to design him a ‘Pueblo style’ Sante Fe home using constructional materials common to our local building industry. After traveling to New Mexico, USA to learn more about and see examples of Sante Fe architecture we designed a home that we, as well as our client are very proud of and felt truly emulated the Pueblo style. The home sits on a 2 hectare lot overlooking the Wonnerup Estuary, with views of Geographe Bay beyond. The open plan building boasts the use of traditional beams and timber work and ‘adobe’ wall appearance synonymous with the vernacular.
