The design brief for the project was to design a holiday house to accommodate up to four couples and provide a feeling of light, openness appropriate to the buildings location.The owners are very involved in yachting, and the house was to reflect a nautical feel. The use of simple roof forms (reminiscent of boat sheds) weatherboards, and timber decking all assist to create this. The following is a walk through the building to help with the house’s imagery.
