Our clients wanted their new home to fit in with the bush setting, be elevated above the ground to take in the distant views of Geographe Bay, and create the feeling of being amongst the trees. The slope of the block allowed us to have easy access to the street side of the house and create the height we needed on the opposite side to provide an exciting high level balcony overlooking the 2 hectare property. The raking ceilings inside using oregon face ply, blackbutt floors and a limestone open fireplace give this house a very warm feel whilst providing impressive volume inside.
